Despite being knocked out the playoffs in the first round by the Toronto Raptors, George averaged 27.3 points in the post season, and carried nearly his entire team to their Game 7 loss.

There will also be a Legend Edition of the NBA 2K17 themed around none other than Kobe Bryant. The robust version will include physical items such as a poster, trading cards, and controller skin, while also including 30,000 Virtual Currency, Kobe’s retirement shoes, jerseys and more as digital perks.

In other NBA 2K news, the current game in the series, NBA 2K16, will be a free game of the month for PlayStation Plus subscribers in June. Read the story and full list of games here.

As a Toronto Raptor fan, it felt sweet to knock George and the Pacers out of the playoffs, but have to give it up to him for his performance in the series. Truly dominant! Still feels like an odd choice for a cover athlete because he didn’t make a massive splash this season, but I don’t have much beef with it.

The real question is: will Drake and Jurassic Park be shown in the game? Pipe dream, I know.
